Armageddon shipviewer, help keep me honest.

OK, I've fixed 'common' on the tourney server version. I've also fixed the G'Tal and the Hyp MC on the SFOS version.

If I remember later I'll upload what I hope are less hinky Drakh to the SFOS version.

Any more errors to report, please let me know which version and whether it's a stat or a tech error.

Cheers

Matt has ruled that the Drakh cruiser keeps the aft AF trait

@Greg, was that ever officially corrected? If do please point me at the post, I'll put a request up for an official ruling on Rulesmasters anyway though.

I can't find a ruling on here. I though it was in Armageddon but it isn't. It was confirmed as a typo in playtesting, yet mysteriously stayed in the book.

Yup I can agree 100% with Greg on this as I pointed it out! It then got removed from the next playtest list. Then my copy of the Drakh book shows up and looks suspiciously like the second last playtest list complete with same errors.....

I do have all of the different drafts of the Drakh fleetlist saved on my computer. The anti-fighter trait was removed after version 3 of 6.

So Drakh cruisers tend to run away from White stars???

Just cause the aft weapon turns out to be more powerful than the front one for no apparent reason?

I mean check out the possibilities.

Drakh versus ISA.

Drakh cruisers start facing aft......cause they can hit reliably and far more accurate than a battlecrab at longer range.......And it doesnt even matter, cause firepower is same front and aft.

4 AD Double damage, means four crew dead. Add in precise and you might have dead WS on the approach.......2 should be able to kill a WS or WS-2.

EDIT: Just checked, you did add slow-loading to the G'Tal, though as far as i can remember from SFOS (After 8 weeks without book or game ugh) it should have weak on all twin particle arrays as well.

My computer was corrupted and I had to purge everything :(

I am miffed that my remark pertaining to this was deleted with no word as to why from the rulesmasters thread :x

Well I didn't delete it EP.

If Matt says it stands, then it stands, I may ask for a reason why on Saturday, after I deal with something else, nuking the churches on the SST boards

If you get a reason, be sure to let us know! I think this may become one of the great mysteries of the world.

You're right, fixed it.

Matt has ruled that the Drakh cruiser keeps the aft AF trait

The thing I find interesting about this ruling is that by answering it the way he did, Matt has now created a whole other set of controversy. There were really only two acceptable answers to this as far as I'm concerned. Either remove it from the Aft weapon or add it to the Fore weapon. Leaving it as is just creates confusion and frankly makes no sense at all.

Something sticking out of a ships aft(er)

No seriously its about naval tradition.

fore means front
aft means end part
same with starboard and port......

I checked with Matthew today, and he has no problem with me putting my ship viewer up to datw with Armageddon stats.

Now all I need to do is do it

LBH, can you check the Dilgar Tikrit, cause i think it has more than 4 AD of Pulsars.

Im not 100% sure, but im fairly certain there should be more.

I was going to start a thread in RulesMasters for Armageddon clarifications, but DaveSaint already started one so I tagged the questions on to his thread, I hope he doesn't mind
