Are we done with the "update" books?

Actually it’s not while it does have the interceptor name and the other has the Leviathan name they have nothing to do with the original IP. FASA even stated this Different setting Different game mechanics. They only used the name to deny Bungee smuggler games from doing the same. The Original IP is still lost in Topps parent company. Unfortunately you don’t know what’s going on with RL I am sorry you’ve been misinformed.
Hey, you are entitled to your opinion. The TOG isn't there as the big baddie, but just like the RL legion universe you have multiple factions to play. Still got big capital warships, fighters are the longer arm of battle, missile barrages can be devastating, etc. It's basically the same game with some tweaks - Interceptor is tactical fighter combat portion and Leviathan is capital ship combat.

As you stated above they had to make some changes to things to keep lawyers happy. The introduction of cards is a slight variation with the new game.

Your info on RL IP ownership is old. Topps used to own the license, but it was transferred to NECA nearly 10 years ago. NECA owns/licenses a lot of IP, though evidently they are just sitting on RL. FASA never ceased to exist, it just got convoluted with how it did business and sold off/licensed its IP. I have not heard any more on the company or the original IP in a number of years.

That’s like calling Aerotech is RL or Starfinder is Traveller. There is literally nothing similar even the tech is different. Even FASA says that it’s not RL so your argument is faulty.

I never said that Topps owned the rights I said the company that owns Topps owns the rights which happens to be NECA I just couldn’t remember the name. And I never said anything about FASA. Try to actually read my statement next time.

And I repeat even FASA says their game is not RL.
