A Couple of Suggestions for the Proposed SST:Evo Cards

But now the same rule is printed in longer version in multiple times with changes between different versions of same rule(different armour save modifier etc) harder to track since they are middle of lengthy rule paragraph(or two) rather than word or two in old traits.

Not only that, but errata are a bear. You can change one entry in a rulebook, or change 15 different cards...

Wow did not realize everyone was so freaked out about this. I think in the end all will be happy as there will be a book with the stats so you can use either. Freinds of mine who don't normally game like the cards for quick reference and they are shiny. The Hardcore gamer usually likes a book as well so we can carry it with us everywhere and drool over stats during breaks....

Yeah I suppose. I'm still going to have to buy a deck protector though...
Meh, what the hell.

As long as I get minis thats all that counts!

See I'm unconvinced by this arguement - I can undeerstand where you're coming from, but in a practical basis (demoing BF:Evo, playtesting an upcoming BF game, similar elements on Warmachine/Hordes cards), it's never been a problem. Most players are smart enough to be able to skim the rules cards for the relevant info once they've read them a few times

The cards are too big for standard card condoms - you may want to look into laminating them.

Not bothered either way, have cards and a rulebook/refsheet would be best. Updates and errata will cause problems no matter what you use.

With cards though, if the text is so small please put on two cards for ease of play...**cough** Deathjack **cough**.

Cheers

I could not even read the cards from S&P, I cannot see how some people managed it. If you put the points value in the book, and leave it off of the card, it will cut down some problems.
