Dinosaurs statted out for Traveller, at last! Camp Cretaceous is a time travel setting that I've used many times to introduce roleplaying to children, both my two sons and in a school RPG club.

It includes a lot of background and useful setting information, not just on the landscape, geography and living world of the Cretaceous, but also on the human time travel expedition, the camp itself and the time travel operation.

Compatible with Cepheus Engine, 1st edition Traveller and at a pinch, 2nd edition.

This looks interesting. Does it come with a map of Cretaceous Earth? Are there encounter tables showing where various dinosaurs can be found on this map? What is the tech level assumed for this setting? I read a book once, the story was about an Entrepreneur who got his hands on a time machine from the future, he was a bit unscrupulous He was taking rich tourists back in time to go dinosaur hunting, he figured it was okay to do this, because this was right before the extinction event which killed off the dinosaurs. The time machine was stolen from its original owner, the business man didn't really know how it worked, but he knew how to operate it, so he sends people back in time to see dinosaurs, hunt them, and even serve them as exotic meals to the tourists he brings back in time. Of course things go wrong in a big way, the Safari camp was too close in time to the K-T boundary, and the asteroid impacted, messing up their Safari camp. the problem was, the Time Machine was set to two time periods, the Present and 65 million years ago right before the K-T event and then during, only the original owner of the time machine could change this setting, so there was no going back in time to fix things or to rescue people who have died etc.
