worst modelling based injury competition, post yours.

I had to cut the tip off a new exacto blade for my m9 mod. I knew the blade would probably fly out of the side cutters, so I made sure it was pointing away from me.

Somehow when i cut the blade, the tip flew back towards the side cutters and imbedded itslef between my thumb and finger on the hade i had the side cutters in. Stabby stabby. Man, it wasn't a huge wound, and it wasn't overly deep, but man it bled like you wouldn't beleive.

Other than that, i did a good job of glueing 3 fingers to a half built chas, and 2 toes together at the same time.

Was converting up some Khornite Berzerkers so I got out a new Xacto blade, noticing how much oil it had on it (the packs of replacement blades have oil on them, not sure why). Placed new blade in Xacto and started cutting, making sure to cut away from myself.

On a marine leg the blade slipped, (the oil on the blade I think), skipped over the marine thigh and was redirected by the marine's calf 90 degrees to the left. Into my left thumb. I remember hearing the hard thunk and thinking "oh good, the bone stopped it". Pulled the blade out, no pain and no blood. I can remember perfectly thinking "Oh no, that's going to hurt in 3, 2, 1.." It's funny the commentary my brain has in moments of stress.

Blade oil in the bloodstream isn't any fun at all. Felt like my thumb was on fire, I finally covered the wound in superglue to stop the bleeding. Needless to say the Khorne Berzerkers did really well in every game with a baptizim like that!

Um, have you never heard of sticky plasters? I'm not sure superglue is very healthy in the blood either...

CheesyRob, I'm guessing that you didn't know superglue was used by the US military in Vietnam as a way to quickly seal wounds.

Guess what guys?
Yesterday I was cutting through some really easy to cut plastic with my xacto and it slid right through and into my index finger and the bone

I'm prone to injuries while making terrain and cutting plastics

Again, I say you NUMPTY!

Pot, kettle, black....any of these words ringing any bells

After a mate of mine took a header down some concrete stairs their head wound got sealed with blue superglue.

Umm I dont understand the pot, kettle, black thing...
:?

I heard of someone getting their ear half cut off, having it glued back on at the hospital, and now its fully working.

Actually no, I'd never heard of that term until I read your post. Across the pond we call them all BandAid's. Like how all tissues are Kleenex. But yes, Superglue (see there's another example!) has been used medically for 40+ years.

Dear Mr Pot, it's the Kettle here, I've been meaning to discuss the issue of your hue, it's most disconcerting that it's become so dark recently.

I know, I had a cut on my forehead superglued up when I was about 4 (fell over and headbutted one of those pointless walls 2 bricks high). I would just have though that if you had any alternative to hand such as band-aids, it'd be better than attempting the glue solution. Maybe I'm wrong, it happens quite a lot. :)

Yeah. When I got an arrow in my eye they sealed the eyelid with the same.
