Which do you think you will favor...SST:Evo or AT-43

I'll have a look. Theres some buzzing interest at the club about it (avid conf players).
I want to try it out for myself, but I will be running evo a lot of the time trying to spread interest.

Don't like the Rules (I've read the basic set and they are just that). As for the "Advanced Rules", doesn't BF Evo already cover much of these situations without the need for too much expansion? The figures are awful. The new space ape's are awful and the Space soviets look like they've got Bed pans on their heads. As for the Aliens I think someone quite accurately compared them to the crap aliens from Titan AE.

I've got 2000 points of Skinnies, 1500 points of Bugs and 2500 points of MI. I'm trying the new Evo rules cards tomorrow and I love the Idea of prepainted SST stuff. Roll on August as far as I say.

im a huge sst fan! have like every thing . i didn't really like the slow down . but i havent jumped ship . its kinda hard when you own three plasma bugs! hehe. not getting the drop ship for christmas crushed my heart . any way its a great game . i have some problems with too many reactions which sst evo has fixed! lets wait and see. at 43 is awesome . definately a large scale game . the new down loadable rules are great simple with enough tactical meat to sink your teeth into . alternateing activations . orders , command options and the universial table to figure out dice roles thumbs up . the figs are great too. i know all about all those complainers . but the figs are great scuplts . so its a toss up . butt untillsst is rebourn successfull ive been all about at43. love the figs, art , fluff , and rules . if anyone knows me or has seen my pics on the forum i have done a lot with sst . but the slow down kind of got to me..
