I think being vocal about here on the boards should do the trick. I am pretty sure that they keep an eye on the posts and that, for instance, a pretty widestread disfavour of the new binding, of non-colour books and the wishes of people to have adventures included in sourcebooks do not go totally unnoticed.
I am not "petitioning" a gaming company:
So far I was pretty pleased and bought their products (Conan, non-Glorantha RQ, Slaine, Judge Dredd mostly).
If they continue to lower the quality of the books (that does NOT imply that they are publishing crap now, but the thing with the binding and the lack of colour in main rulebooks) then I will see if I am still as enthusiastic.
Right now I am still okay.
And paaleeeze don't read more into my words:
This is no name-calling, bad-bad-Mongoosians-taking-away-my-binding-and-color-boohooo-BS, I just compare editions of the same company and Conan 1st edition was nicer and worth every penny, and Conan second edition has more content, costs less but is not as much eye candy as the first and I am watching out that I don't strain the binding to much - some people already collect pages from the floor, so I've heard.
So, Mongoosians, see if it would not be possible to go back to the old binding and publishing standard - or offer "special editions" for people who like their books in full color and cahrge more (but please tell us before that there will be a special edition because mad as I am I would not buy a book twice).
If I take a look at this discussion so far I see that the "Adventure!" and "Sourcebooks!" could pretty much agree on sourcebooks including adventures.
I would actually prefer that over "just adventures".
