I've started on 36 LAMI......should be done by Sunday Night.

My 36 LAMI are Done! They need to be sealed but they are ready, I also managed 10 Tiger Warrior Bugs and a CHAS!

Really only 2 techniques here.. sponge and strokes , lots of both. The Ice planet is like 8 layers of colour, and pumice gel mixed with white for the polar cap. The small planets/moons are also using the Pumice gel. The "cracked" planet is a mix of pumice gel and application of gesso. There's also an obvious mix of Glossy/Matte varnishes.

These represent no specific planets, just what I thought looked good and I could do with the 2 techniques I can do.

it wasnt today but last night between midnight and 5, i painted 5 flights of Tbolts, only two tbolts to a card hex stand, 6 looks to many to me and that way i can get more flights, I also finished off an Apollo.

also painted the names of two apollo's onto the base, the Apollo and the Marduk, my third will be Mars

I've just found out that you can still mail order the flying stands by the bag on the Australian on-line store. Better than 75p a base and 75p a stem on the UK on-line store. Good old gw, always finding new ways to hack off their old customers.

you know the bases you get for the fighters like the Thunderbolts the gw stems fit in there very nicely

just bought 30 flying bases of ebay for £1.99 bud! it's the ones with the hexagoal bases but hey! better than GW prices.

anyhoos, i'm halfway through two Ka'tocs right now, next up a Rongoth.

Oh happy day I just finished putting together the last shadow scout out of the fleet box set. I'm happy in the knowledge that I won't have to do that ever again.

Unless I drop one.

I painted my Marathon Cruiser and while I waited for coats to dry I also painted 4 Chronos to go with it.

I decided on a different scheme not so dark.

Edit: I've decided to call them 'The Blue Meanies'
