What does MS (as in MS 5000) mean?

What does MS (as in MS 5000) stand for in the Lone Wolf dates? I can't seem to find the meaning in the rulebook.

MS stands for Moonstone. Having a number after the MS menas '5000 years after the creation of the Moonstone'. Have a number before the MS (as in 2000 MS) means 200 years before the creation of the Moonstone.
