What do you think of my Drinax Character?

Like I said in my last post I've gotten bored of the stress of being A Traveller GM and have decided to become A Traveller Player and want to know what you think of my Character I rolled up for A Drinax Campaign using rules that my GM made for making Super Characters to do solo Campaigns?. Here he is

Str and End were both 2 5’s and A 3’s or both 10 both -1 or both 9, Dex was 2 4’s, A 5 and A 1 or 9, Intelligence was 2 4’s, A 6 and A 2 or 10, Education was 2 2’s, A 6 and A 5 or 11 +1 or 12 and Social Scale was 2 6’s and 2 1’s or 12 +1 or 13

And

For my 5 Skills I take, sorry acquire, Carouse /0 or +1, Diplomat /0 or +2, Medic /0 or +2, Persuade /0 or +2 and Streetwise /0 or +1

Term 1

Due to already having several of the skills I get a automatic Art -Dancing /0 or +1 and Painting /0 or +2 and Deception /0 or +2

I survive, advance and with A 3 and A 5 on Specialist -Critic get Art -Dancing /1 or +2, Carouse /1 or +2 and Diplomat /1 or +3

And

The Event rolls A 23 then A double 6 or 12, so I get A Stipend

Also

The GM Made A Roll on The Health Events Table that comes up A 66 then A 3rd 6, so I’ve completely stopped aging
Term 2

I survive, advance and with A 6 on both Personnel Development and Service Skills and get Diplomat /2 or +4, Jack of All Trades /1 and +1 Int

And

The Event Roll is A 56, which’ll double my 1st portfolio item. Which in the end means I get A Cr 25,000,000 Estate that nets me Cr 125,000 per month

I survive, advance and with A 3 and A on Specialist -Critic I net Art -Dancing /2 or +3 and Diplomat /3 or +5

And

The events roll is A 45, using The GM’s House Rule I choose Humanitarian, roll 2D6+1 get A 9 and get Languages -Aslan /1 or +3

Start using Anagthics

Ooops that’s ignored as in Term 1 The GM Made A Roll on The Health Events Table that came up A 66 then A 3rd 6, so I’ve completely stopped aging

Survive, advance and with A 5 and A 6 on Service Skills nets Diplomat /4 or +6 and Persuade /2 or +4

And

The Events roll is A 66, so I gain Rank 5

Term 5

Survive, advance and with A 4 and A 5 on Personnel Development net +2 Social Scale and Carouse /2 or +4

And

The Events roll is A 35 then A 2 then A 5, so I net A Free Benefit that The GM makes A Portfolio Item that’s A Cr 10,000,000 Agricultural Estate that nets me Cr 50,000 a month

Term 6

Survive and A 5 on Advanced Education nets me Science -Social /1 or +3

And

The events roll is A 42 then A Double 6, which nets me Cr 120,000

Term 7

Survive and A 1 on Advanced Education nets me Advocate /1 or +4

And

The events roll is A 56, which nets me +1 End and Survival /1 or +2

Term 8

Survive and A 2 on Service Skills nets me Art -Dancing /3 or +4

Events wise roll is A Double 1 or 11 for A Mishap but stay in the career followed by A 6 on Mishap nets me Vacc Suit /1 or +2

Survive but have to leave after this term, but at least I don’t get chucked out, and A 4 on The Specialist -Critic Skills Table nets me Computers /1 or +3

The Events roll is A 51, which nets me Trade -Art Dealer /1 or +3

The GM’s house rules for Skill Packages for Solo Characters lets my character net 3D6 /'s worth of almost any type of Skill, I roll 2 4's and A 5 and I choose to take Admin /2 or +4, Broker /2 or +5, Gun Combat -Energy Rifles /2 or +3, Leadership /2 or +5, Melee -Blade /2 or +3 and Tactics -Naval /2 or +4 and Piracy /1 or +3

To pay The Cr 19,500,000 needed to fully repair my Harrier I sell my Cr 20,000,000 worth of Antique Artwork, I roll 3D6+5 and get 3 5’s +A 5 or 20 and sell it for 145% of its Market Value

That nets me Cr 29,000,000 and I fully repair my Harrier, give its 3rd turret A Triple Turret with 2 Beam Lasers and A Missile Rack, give it A 5-ton Medical and buy 5 tons of Smart Missiles. That costs Cr 23,800,000 and leaves me with Cr 5,200,000

With that Cr 487,500 A Month I hire A Crew for The Harrier of 3 Marines, 2 Gunners, 1 Medic, 1 back-up engineer, 1 back-up pilot, 1 engineering officer, 1 piloting officer and 1 1st officer that all have A +3 DM in their 5 Key Skills, A +2 DM in their 3 none-key Skills, get Cr 4,000 more per month then normal and all in all that costs me Cr 181,940 a month

And

The GM chooses to make 2 pre-campaign portfolio rolls and rolls 1st A 12 followed by A 8, then he then A 2 followed by A 6, which she rules cancel each other out and has A 50/50 Chance to add +1D3x5% to 1 item and A 5 then A 3 adds +10% to my Cr 50,000,000 Estate

But I have questions:

What is a Health Events table and how does it make you immortal? What book and what page is that from?

And wondrous rolls count is a double 6 from you, and a triple 6 from your GM in your first term

Term 2: another double 6 from you to get the stipend. nice

A roll of 56 is on events does not double your portfolio item, That's a 63, 56 give +1 END and Survival
Term 4, another double 6, that is 4 so far making this character.

Ooops I'd forgotten that The GM had agreed to generate the character for me and that is how she said that she'd rolled up my character, so it isn't my fault if, for whatever reason, she fixed the dice rolls in my favor

Also don't know if I previously put he instead of she by mistake when referring to The GM but it is definitely A She
 
I'm pretty sure all of us have had (or still have vestiges of) our power gaming phase.

Figure out what attracts you to the Traveller role playing game, it's game mechanics, it's universe, and why.

Not quite cos I've only just realized that all 4 of the Dice that I've used over the last 12 years were given to me by my little brother who gave me them back in September 2,006 and that I only found out today at 11.18AM that all 4 where custom made loaded dice that roll at least a 4 68% of the time and only roll less then A 3 7% of the time and almost never roll less then A 3 and that 2 of those Dice were the 1's I lend my GM
 
The physics of making those dice could advance our knowledge by centuries. Some sort of semi-mobile superdense material in a smart matrix perhaps.
 
Isn't it taboo to touch another roleplayer's dice? You should see the shitstorms that arise when they come to tabletop wargamning and discover there are tournament regulations that allow you to share another player's dice.

People have too many dice rituals, then get upset when I ask them if blowing on the dice isn't just a form of praying, or appeasing some undefined supernatural force?

edit: The legit religious ones are OK with it, I mean I've seen players pray before a tournament. But it's non-religious ones that get annoyed when you ask them about exactly what it is they are doing.

Companies also offer custom dice as prizes and then then kind of have to allow them.
 
So you only have 4 dice? And they are loaded? And you only found out now, at 11:18 today.

You have posted the same statistics about dice before, so I have to call b.s on that claim of innocence.

I would ask you GM to roll up another character, and NOT use the Dilettante book. Make something else up.
And throw out those dice for gaming.

Now if you have been a GM for 18 years, and only used those dice for Traveller. How is it that every party you have had have not died in the first combat when you attack them because you will do maximum damage 68% of the time?
