Upgrading shadow ships from war to armagedion, a good thing?

Personally, I think the Shadows and Vorlons should be scenario-only units like the other First Ones...

Problem is they are so iconic and exciting it is a great shame to restrict their use in this way...........also their ships (or at least the Shadows) were matched and killed by Younger races - sometimes stupidily easily with telepaths.........didn't a Drazi ship kill a Vorlon one?

I think you see a few Vorlon fighters dying, and a heavy cruiser taking some fire - but nothing short of thermonuclear mines actually kills any (I think it's dubious as to whether or not the mines even did in the last battle) - it just annoyed them (and the shadows).

Yep, i was hoping it was just the picture, but alas no. Glad I only brought a few.

Was thinking about building a hybred using the bottom of the hunter and the top of the scout. Not sure how it would come out.

To be fair to Mongoose its not their fauly in this case, it is entirely accurate to the hunter we see on screen in Crusade. So ugly it may be, but its not a bad mini still!

agree its a horrible looking ship (model just follows that) glad its not in the Shadow fleet - leaves room from some nice new sculpts of Carrier and maybe one or 2 others (and 6 or 7 ships is prob about right)

well you could just bend the legs back a bit if you want to make it look sleeker, its still hideous no matter what you do but as I said thats the fault of the original design

The worse bit for me is the bits between the 'arms' that look like flow channels from the mould. I'm tempted to cut them off anyway.

Can't recall correctly - it mentions it in the Drazi fluff but I was so disapointed by the ending of that episode that have not watched it for ages...........can't believe they meekly walked away like scolded children...........prefered a final battle between the two and m,aybe even they are both killed like the Gods of Law and Chaos (which is what they pretty much are) at the end of Corum first sequence.

I've seen some very nice conversions on the forum using scout tendrils, and the middle section from the shadow ship model. They look quite cool, and fit in with the look of the fleet nicely. More so than the flying hairclip.

Yes. In the shadow part of the mongoose gallery there is a fleet painted by friendlyfire with them in it. I'm pretty sure I've seen them on the forum, but I'm not sure where, as it was a while ago.
