lol amazon still have books that were released in november listed as not yet in stock so i'd cancel it and try another source if u dont get it by friday mate.

Got mine in Vegas as well, and ran a small Marines take a 5000 ton starship.
It went well, although I probably played a little fast and loose with the combat rules, as I hadn't had as much time as I liked to read over them.
Chargen was simple enough for me to pre-gen a squad of six Marines in about an hour all by myself, but there was still some personality to each one of them that was easy for the players to find.
FP, pretty happy with the book and writing up his Marine adventure for possible perusal by others (maybe in S&P if I'm really fortunate)!
And I have to admit...I'm doing a little dance for this is the first time ever for me to be one of the first ones to have a new RPG book! 8)

However, I got GTA IV this morning, so I think I'll be a happy bunny until it turns up.

Just spoke to my FLGS here in middle of US - he had to call his distributor, but confirmed it will be available this Thursday. Can't wait.

well hopefully either forbidden planet or travelling man will have it in on friday or saturday if fanboy3 decide not to get it in till next week. as for it not being in atm i think thats coz esdeviumgames only started shipping it out today so i figure friday/saturday at the earliest before its in stock.

Seriously, complain loud enough and even the Postal Service will do something about it.
I did it when they damaged some books I had ordered. You have to be firm and polite, but don't take no for an answer.
Besides, then Mongoose gets 2 sales!

OK, this is how geeky I am over this, I just called my son at home and had him check the mail to see if the book had arrived.

thing is alot of people have taken time of for some games release today so u may be in luck...or outta luck depending on how many other people where u work decided to take the day of "sick"

I can live with it, especially now that the cover is open and I'm reading the undamaged and nicely done rules.
I didn't dislike the artwork as much as some have mentioned. It's much better than Randy Quaid with a blaster. That picture sets me to laughing every time I see it.
