What do i have to do if a ship of mine reaches 0 points damage in a boarder dispute without a Jump Point? What happens if i have a Jump Point?

The official answer is the ship has to attempt to retreat as quickly as possible. If this is via opening a jump point then it will do so, if it is by all powering to engines and heading for the nearest table edge then it will do it via that way.

A few questions...
1. Can I jump out from a tourney game wait three turns then jump in again? I'm not declaring a withdrawl but I can't shoot and want to use the time recharging to roll damage control repairs..Kattaddar remember me?

2. Can a JP ship open a jump point but not come through, close it and then recharge in order to come through when it opens a new JP three turns later?

3. Ships that have a JP opened for them can fire/special action when they come through?

1. No, enter hyperspace and you're gone for good.

2. Yes, although its 4 turns later since you need 3 full turns to recharge jump engines.

3. Only if they have AJP trait.

If a ship reaches 0 points damage, it's dead. D. E. A. D. dead. Too late to worry.

I think what is confusing Wulf and I is that we were under the impression that 0 damage meant dead.

Does 0 damage mean that you can take no more damage, and the next kills you; or does it mean your ship is dead?

Thinking on it, there are two different ways of looking at it...

If its Border Patrol and no live fire has taken place it means you've been freaked out by all the target locks and are getting the hell out of dodge.

It's not real damage, just lots of target locks and irritating voices saying "Please be aware, this vessel has been target locked, please fasten seatbelts and close all doors."

Yeah, was a big success at the Masters of War tournament. I played it exactly once all of my other games being Assassination (which I played wrong)
