I also liked this book. I have had it for a while now and use it occasionally when I need a ship quick.

I liked most of the new designs as well.

I agree that some of the deckplans didn't seem to match the exterior views, but that is a problem on just about every Traveller product I have seen, going back to CT.

My personal favorite is the Type-T Patrol Cruiser... Just the right size for a group of PCs and a bunch of NPCs to get them into trouble!

I always design my own ships and use the canned ships as encounter types, but sometimes I make alterations to fit my plot.
