Seffix' Oddball Cozy Slice-of-Life Campaign

Some Vargr places:
Chomper Alley — 1 block of small eateries in Vargtown
Ekuerrg’s burger stall — In Chomper Alley, on the northern side. Best part is the sauce with chiddles for a special texture. Spinning neon magsculps of three Vargr with battleaxes… It’s next to the Starcandy joint. Ekuerrg’s sauces are serious business, tangy, smoky, and with a strange aftertaste rumored to be outlawed in the Consulate.
Urrgdhae’s Club — Vargr eatery. 5 stools around a tandoo(ri) hidden in a vacant lot half a block west of Chomper’s Alley
Vuzdhoungsan’s — Butcher’s place in Vargtown

Edible utensils:
Funware — Cups & plates made from processed seaweed. Can be eaten after use.
Funcup — A funware cup.
Fundish — A funware dish
Funsaucer — A funware saucer
(Their ad company did not put much effort into brand naming)

Some medicines:
Chronadrol — A pill that resets a human’s internal clock to think it is time to wake up.
Etha-Nah — (aka Greenies) Triangular green pill that prevents the inebriating effects of alcohol. Best taken 10 minutes before the first drink.

I think the chefs from the Vargr restaurants above would benefit from meeting some Aslan butchers of my acquaintance:
  • Ahaokhiyrai. He sharpened his knives as a warrior before turning to the culinary arts, where he believes the true heart of the Aslan spirit is fed. Amazing cuts of groat.
  • Esaihea the Slaughterer. A butcher whose prowess with a cleaver rivals his mastery of the soisu’soi. Opened a flagship restaurant, Beef and Blade, on Regina. Famous for losing his hand to a live aua’ka, which he then cooked to perfection. Five nebulas from Zee-ρ, the galactic food review and social media service.
But if the Vargr are dining out, they should try this place:
  • The Flame Master by Hkastyeai, just outside the starport. Echoing the flamboyance of François Vatel, Hkastyeai is famed for his theatrical cooking methods that often involve fire and blades.

So that is why it always smells of burnt fur in here! lol

Kfedzlloron — That burnt fur smell Vargr associate with home cooking.
Enkfou — A pattern style popular with Vargr. Something like jagged paisley.

Daghehdhabhehl — The Te-zlodh word for mouthfeel, the tactile component of the experience of eating a food (e.g. crunchy vs. chewy).

Last episode featured a tragic visit to the planet's only (known) Daryen, who happens to run a quirky gastrocloset (because it's that kind of campaign).

Some Daryen food and drink currently available on Emerald
Kemehm -- Like tea and comes in three different buds (types). Nonggikehm is for the discovery of paths. Nehnkehm is for accepting pain. Bekehm is for warriors.

Dehleld -- A salad composed of three leafy vegetables.

Nyonihlza -- An aquatic plant that provides the most of the nutritious profile necessary for a long, healthy Daryen live (Zgihzbim Nas’ research proves that a Daryen could survive without nutrient deficiencies for twenty years on a diet of only nyonihlza and nasony (a very common tuber). She and a cohort of 14 collaborators lived on it for two decades, tracking their metabolism throughout. She started with 22 people, but several were unable to complete the two decades. None of the withdrawals were related to the restricted diet, and two of the women had children whose health was apparently unaffected. Eleven of the original cohort and one of the children have continued the program. The other child was raised on a less restrictive diet. Their methodology was sound.

Baghihnan -- A mint adjacent herb that can also be brewed into a medicinal decoction. It would probably make a good tea, but Daryen think it would taste like drinking medicine.
