Just to let you all know, Empires arrived at our office this morning, and pre-orders are going out the door in, well, about twenty minutes time! We have plenty in stock, so if you want to grab a copy of this gorgeous looking book, don't hesitate!

Thank you, good to know. :D

This means my FLGS here in Germany will have it in the not too distant
future, and I urgently need it for the setting I am working on.

Not to be rude - but, has any one picked up Empires and gotten an impression of how the editing is, as well as how well it was converted from MRQ1 to MRQ2?

As much as I enjoy my copies of the Core book and Monster Colosseum, I'm hesitant to buy any further products until it's confirmed that the quality control has improved.

Thanks.

[rant] Yay...I can now wait for it to show up at an online retailer somewhere, since to date my FLGS has received 1 copy of the core book and 2 copies of Monster Coliseum and nothing else...and gives me curious looks when I insist he ought to have gotten Arms & Equipment, the GM Screen, Necromantic Arts and others in by now. [/Rant]

Seriously, looking forward to this. While what happened to A&E in terms of editing is unfortunate...it's also the only book so far that suffered noticeably; Necromantic Arts is perfectly functional and has caused no problems for my group to date. I suspect that unless Empires was loaded with a metric ton of charts (that seems to be where the main problems lie in translation) it ought to fare well...fingers crossed! The next campaign arc I am running depends on having Empires on hand.

Yep, it's got to be pdf. for me currently. It took me months to get hold of the corebook, and actually I like the idea of having all these supplements on file to use as needed.
