I just realised in digging out this material that I'd missed quite a few Italian escort classes which I'm sorting out and adding to the S&P article, so thanks for bringing it to my attenton in an indirect sort of way

Oops - I got the range of the secondaries for the Italian destroyers wrong. It should have been 12" rather than 16". I've corrected in the post above, but if you copied the stats down earlier then take note!

I'd use the generic minesweeper in OOB.

They already do something that makes an ideal Bathurst with just a little chopping with a craft knife. I made a dozen of them some years back. Unfortunately I can't remember which model I used for the conversion.
