DSCF0008.jpg

terrain is WIP (4 more building to build i think looking at the box of sheets infront of me :( will the madens ever end)

any ways

here we go

6 units of PLA
4 type 99s
2 APCs
3 FAVs (conversions)

think i need to add more though !!

wow, i may get the PLA but the models for BF EVO have disappointed me so far. plus im gonna use T-72s intead of the Type 99, my guys are gonna be the reservists ^_^

im lovin the mins there is no way id of gaot this many painted so soon, i can now concentrate on the terrain instead.

true, but, you would have done a better paint job on them though 8)

to be honest

NO i wouldnt of and not as consistant, the camo is definatly several stages above what i would have done.

stipple ftw ;)

there to consistant for that, the faces are a bit od, but then they are for games not golden deamon after all.

im realy impressed with mine anyway, so far nobody has been able to repaint an army from black undercoat that look as good as production, ok the faces need a look but am i gonna spend my day redoing 60 faces on my pla and 50 faces on my mea and 18 faces on my usmc and 32 faces on my brits. ? mmmm nooo way id rather concentrate on terrian and playing.

and if i wanna paint i will do some proxy stuff like my FAV's or maybe some hordes.

Give me the figures and I'd re-paint an army that would blow the production models away.

got any examples of your work ? with camo paterns on

also to stay competative youd have to produce the lot on show in under 3 days or your not playing on the same playing feild in wich i bought them. if you wish to compete with factory you got about 20 mins probably lol.

like i say people say they can but so far nobody has proven it. i paint armies for a living and stuff like this will put me out to pasture.

Why would I want to copmpete with the factory when speeding up will just result in a drastic drop of quality?

I paint for a living as well... but the fact that the quality of my work is so far above that of the BF:EVO models means I am not going out to pature anytime soon.

nice stuff, still prefer the the camo on the stuff i got though to be honest, my ol friends vern used to do that cartoon style skin, i always liked it on his minis but it never combined well with my style.

so you planning on repainting the prepaints be interesting to see how your schemes fare on these minis.

for painting armies i have 3 -5 days to produce £200-£400 worth of profit, anything over that in time kills me, so i dont bother any more. necrons was the best one £150 stock sold for a few pence under £1k took 2-3 days to paint... never again did my head in lol was a shock what it sold for though, funny ol world mini painting.

wish i had the time to paint these days now, love your FOW stuff one thing i hate doing in fow is infantry, but tank forces die to fast.
