Question about 2ed Fleet Allocation point breakdown

I'm working on a 5 point Battle fleet. I want to use 1 Battle point to buy 1 Raid and 4 Patrol ships. This particular breakdown isn't listed in the chart on page 3 of the 2ed Fleet Lists, but I think that it should be legal. Am I allowed to do this or am I limited by what's on page 3?

You split the batle point into two raid points.

2 Raid

You then split ond of those Raid points into two skirmish points.

1 Raid and 2 Skirmish

You then split one of those Skirmish points into 2 Patrol points

1 Raid, 1 Skirmish and 2 Patrol

Thats yer lot I'm afraid if you want both Raid and Patrol in the same FAP.

I believe he is splitting the 1 Battle Point into 2 Raid Points.

Then he is using one of those Raid points to buy 4 Patrol choices as page one of the file LBH linked to shows.

I guess he's asking if when you split down, can you only keep splitting down, or can you split down and then buy down as well?

What they said, Leadman. You won't be able to get those 4 Patrol ships out of the same Battle FAP (unless you bought 8 Patrol choices). You're going to have to break 2 different points to get your 4 Patrol ships.

Once you have bought down you can then only split your resulting points.
