I wouldn't mind pictures that stick to the Conan stories, but in no way would I want the to become something that is on every other page. I enjoy many artists renderings of the female body, but focusing too much on this one aspect of the Conan stories would turn me away from this product. After all, the stories were about more than naked women.

True. There are the half-naked women to consider as well.

Ka-chingo!!! We have a winner! :D

Heck, lots of RPG game books have had partial nudity or very near nudity. Ever take a good look at some of the first and 2nd generation of White Wolf products? Like the "Black Dog" line? Also, what about that new release "Book of Erotic Fantasy" along with some other books in the d20 and non d20 industries? Nothing wrong with Conan and I love it personally. I'd definitely be interested in this Shadizar supplement if its in the works. My new online game will be set there too. };)

Gaming as a whole is played by more adults over the age of 18 then by the teen or preteen crowd, at least from over 10 yrs of convention working and tournament judging, I've seen it and I'm seriously considering running a Conan RPG at this years DragonCon. I've been playing RPGs since the original D&D game (the booklet versions) way back in 1979 and I was 7 yrs old.

I definitely agree with the previous comments and with Iron Chef, please don't go "PC", just put a mature label on the cover (like a preshrink wrap with a sticker) if you need too, but definitely don't tame it down any.

Who cares? Seriously. Should there be nudity on every page? No. Does it matter? No.

So what's all the fuss? Let's play!

Hey, I'm not against it. Some of my Favorite B&W art was from 1st ed. Deities & Demigods. I just think that there is a line between art and tastelessness. You have to know when enough is enough.

It's a game first and that should always be remembered.

Hey, who wants tame? I just think Mongoose should include nekkid folks of both genders. It's not really a question of PC for me; if anything, a reminder that male flesh was sold on the auction block as often as female helps to remind us of the gritty atmosphere of Howard's semi-civilized world. Naked people appear and feel vulnerable, for the most part. This will reinforce the idea that you only have dignity in a conan game if you fight for it.

On the other hand, nobody's going to laugh at an armed and angry Tripod the Bare-barian just because his loincloth fell off.

Awesome idea! If my players get captured, they will definitely get stripped down. They are gonna hate it! Especially when they make their escape and someone comes at them with a sword.

As a guide, we have far more bare-breasted men than we have bare-breasted women in our books. Get down to Johnson County and that's another matter...
