Other Settings

Plus there are some older RQ based RPGs that could be used as settings for RQ. That would let you use most of the Chaosium RQ/BRP settings, like ElfQuest, Ringworld, Vikings, Questworld, or Land of the Ninja plus a few things like Midnight at the Well of Souls and Morrow Project.

While you might have to tweak a few game mechanics, the settings port over failry easily.

I forgot a couple Mongoose ones:

Pirates has just been released.

A Samurai/Oriental Setting has been announced by Mongoose as well. I'm not sure if it is based on historical Japan or an 'alternate east'.

Plus SpaceQuest is coming, the Sci-Fi/Modern core ruleset based on RQ, which will have a number of settings also.

Dear All,

Don't forget 'Warlords of Alexander' - it's out there too! It's also pretty good (the .pdf is more complete than the version on the wiki, I think).

Regards

Sort of the version on the Wiki is meant to be an actual conversion of it to the MRQ rules from the BRP rules. However I ran into other things at the oment, but if anyone wants to work on it go ahead.

Here's one for ya...How about 'Orb'? It was a really indepth setting for the 'choose your own path' type books about a ninja 'Avenger', 'usurper' etc.
Anyone remember them? They were ace! Made TSR books look like hansel and gretal.

*Warlords of Briton* gets mentioned along with the Lankhmar Setting in the "Players Guide to Glorantha".

Maybe Mongoose Steele knows about that?

Cheers

Osentalka
