Question RE: Serpent Class Scout

We're using the Serpent Class Scout ship in our Traveller game. The deck plan is fairly straight forward except for one thing... the IRIS valve door placement between Deck 1 and Deck 2 just makes no sense to me. If you place the deck 2 'down' IRSI valve door over the deck 1 'up' IRIS valve door, the configuration is just... off. Lop sided. Am I missing something? Shouldn't deck 2 sit fairly uniformly over deck 1? If deck 1 'up' IRIS valve is in the center of the ship, should deck 2 IRIS valve also be more centered on deck 2?

I know I can make that change as a GM and have it however I want... but I can't help feeling like I'm missing something.

Ah... maybe I figured it out. The 'up IRIS valve pictured in the center of deck 1 goes to the turret. I think there's supposed to be a second 'up' IRIS valve door in the back of room 11... see image below. 1768623490500.png

The dtons of ships, never do a good job of caring or understanding that there is extraneous stuff outside of the deck plan. On this one you can see ther eis the brown fill out area. Its not fuel. Its not really counted as part of the dtons. Thats a limitation of system.
The part is that since dtons deal with grid of squares. This means its bad with any curves. If I recall, the Serpent Class is tubular. So the cross section length isnt the same along the Y axis.
