Newbie question

Hi All,

I have had a look at the game on the website and serched the forum a bit but cannot really find an answer to my question. I don't have the rule book yet as I am still considering the game.

If I want to play another EFTF country besides the British what do I do?

From what I have read it appears only the British have unit cards so am I stuck waiting until the units get released or are there lists in the rulebook?

Cheers Neil

At the moment you are stuck with just the Brits, however I think the 1st of the none British units is due for release in Septemeber with the German AT infantry closely followed by the French Foreign Legion.

The upcoming non-british EFTF forces we know about are the leopard 2(due in August or thereabouts), and then after that we're gonna get German Infantry (who will be carrying LAW-type rockets), French foot infantry (they have a foreign legion option), the French LeClerc MBT, and the Fench HAP Tigre attack chopper.

Damn forgot about the Leopard *DOH* and I am really looking forward to adding one of them to my force as well!!!!

Yeah, everything that these guys said.

But seriously, from the looks of it there are gonna be lots of options for other countries within the EFTF coming out, which is quite exciting because it'll then allow you to play as a multi national force with the best stuff from each if you want.

My buddies pretty chuffed at that prospect.

Me? Well, my PLA rule already!

Thanks guys,

I suspect I will proxy models until the nationalities I want come along. I look forward to trying the game in the next few weeks.

Cheers Neil

Yes, there is an option on the French Infantry card to go Foreign Legion.

Sweet :) Was hoping for German Infantry as fancy a hybrid Brit / German force but I suppose a unit of Garlic eaters that can double as a support squad (that doesn't eat garlic) will be nice 8)

Hmm... time to go nerf bat Shotgun then.

and in English that would be?

"Nerf bat" is when you take a metal baseball bat and wrap it in newspapers so that the impact sound will not be as loud and thus draw unwanted attention to the clubbing.

Do you know what a Nerf football is made of?

Chav (white trash) brains (takes about 666 to make one football sized ball (and I do mean ball not one of those squashed things that come from american football)).

sigh...

Why, just repeated clubbings at a quick pace . I guess Hiromoon meant a real nerf bat and not my wry description . Someone should be politically incorrect and make a nerf baby seal & bat set. I'd bet it would be a great seller.

German Infantry (with extremely useful organic AT) will be out before the French!
