New ships in 2nd ed?

I thought I read on one of the other topics that the Nemesis is disappearing from the Crusade Era EA fleet? I hope this isn't true as the boxset I dropped $100 came with two!

Can someone fill me in on what, if any, changes are being made to the Crusade fleets?

Sorry Buddy, as mentioned in quite a few places now, the Nemesis becomes a psi corp ship.
a quick summary of information released on crusade EA. All current ships, except Nemesis. Chronos to Skirmish, and some new fighter varients, oh, and Warlock back to war level. You gain the Unique ship Excalibur as an armageddon choice.

Good to hear that the Chronos is going Skirmish, but it's a shame that the ships I built my fleet around are now obsolete.

Does the Skirmish change to the Chronos come with any statistic changes?

Hmmm . . . well, I can't say that I'm excited about what they've done to the Crusade Era fleet, but I guess I'll wait to see the final product before deciding for sure.

Another way to look at it: The Psi Corps can use EA ships, so you may find your fleet selection doesn't change too much. . .

Yeah, that's very true. It does, however, mean a new paintjob for my Nemesis'.

Oh well, like I said, I won't grouse (much) until I see the fleet lists in print.

means theres lots of EA players out there with 2 armageddon point psi-corp fleets
personally i think they should have put more marathons in that box set. 2 nemesis (esepcially considering how crap they were) was a bit much.

But, one think I´d still like to know: Is the Shadow Omega going back to War, or does it stay at armageddon (I´ve never been sure why it has been elevated in the first place)

It's in the EA black ops fleet, I think - at war, as an equivalent to the Warlock...

yes but squats and chaos dwarves are truely hideous models that don't fit in with the rest of the game, Mongoose would never produce anything like that........oh dear

I always thought white stars should get the stealth trait, they pretty heavily based off of minbari tech, vorlon too what bits they could get from them.

But remember they were designed to fight the Shadows. Whose normal response to any younger race's stealth systems is 'ooh, look. The picture is a little bit fuzzy', before blowing you to bits anyway.
With that in mind, the stealth system wasn't worth the weight and power consumption.
