New ship ???

I was looking at having a light cruiser off of the oracle scout. (I have 4 of them and will not have that many Scouts) Tell me what you think.

is this early EA? I'm not too up on them to be honest. Statwise, it "feels" ok, assuming a skirmish level? Fast, maneouverableish, but a bit weak if hit (not a critisism just a statement). I would "maybe" think about a few extra weapon dice, but someone more in tune with this Era might advise better :-)
 
feels light on the pulse cannons.

This appears to be a 3rd age (note its pulse not plasma largely). You seem to be looking for a 'light hyperion' so I looked at upping the side cannons to at least be a threat to an interceptor ship if you yahtzee and get a good crit.

The beam is fine for a skirmish ship, but no traits made me think it was better up a die.

No reason to not keep the missile rack, the Olumpus gets two after all.

Plasma cannon upped the traits from looking at the hyperion.

Your competition in the fleet is the 3rd Age Olympus... you have lower hull, no troops (I might add 1), less damage... you have a b beam, it had t ap dd with more AD, it has bigger single bank forward, you have some ap... sides are similar and you have a back tl, but it has more missile ad. Pretty close.

What we need is a Warlock destroyer from Early Years firing the Shadow weapon in a way the Victory fires a Vorlon weapon...

How about trading one or two of them for something else instead of cobbling up a whole new ship class to justify keeping them? ;)
 
well let me see i have a fleet for earth new and old, Dilgar, Narn, Centauri, Abbai, Brakiri, drazi, vree, and Raiders. most of them are big and they are all miniatures. so i will like some new ships for the ships that i have.
