Multi-player books paperback or hard back?

Mongoose
I noticed that Amazon is selling the multi-player game books now. They are listed as paper back. The cover type is not listed here at Mongoose. I was under the impression that these books were the same size and binding as the collector edition solo books. Can anyone tell me what these books are actually like?

They are digest sized paperbacks at about 110+ pages.
A nice format if you ask me but I would have liked to see some more artwork :-)

Another question: I am an grown-up with kids now. (I assume most of us Lone Wolf lovers are). I won't be getting a bunch of friends together for role-playing anytime soon (or ever). Do these books add anything to the mythology? Is there enough in them to read and have fun learning the mechanics? It's a game I probably won't ever play. From the titles it looks like a few are reference info and others are campaigns. Maybe I should skip the campaigns?

Great question, Silex!

Let me tell you how I see the current supplements. Even the adventures are filled with bits of lore and continuing stories of Magnamund. I could easily see any purchase in the line being useful from a lore standpoint. There are commentaries, additional facts and mentions of new parts of the world not yet explored.

You wouldn't go wrong no matter what book you picked up so just start with whatever piques your interest the most and have at!

I concur with August. There's definitely lore to be found and all the books add something to the world of Magnamund.
