MRQ Wiki - new

Traffic is still high on mrqwiki, though usage is still suffering a very heavy load from user agents/bots rather than search engine bots. I am now blocking them as _real_ user demands are much, _much_ lower.

However, I am considering either shutting down mrqwiki completely or turning it into a static site. How many people are actually interested or think it will effect them?

I haven't been active on the wiki for a long time. I'm not playing RQ at the moment, and if I were I would probably be using RQ6.

I too have not been on the MRQ Wiki for quite a while, again mainly because I am not playing MRQ at present. However, I do still hope to do so in the future and so having the wiki available would always be useful, but not essential.

So if it is causing you more problems having it active than not, I would not be too averse to seeing it go.

It's never really acquired any kind of critical mass. Shame really but as long as it stays up static or we get plenty of warning so I can archive the bits I would like then that's ok.

OK, probably best if you start archiving now. I'll check to see how easy it will be to put it into a purely static site.

I've bounced some high-bandwidth addresses anyway, some of which were just bots.
