MRQ Wiki - new

I have updated the Elric MRQ2 section quite a bit now with pages set up for each chapter.
I've also added a download link for Elric/MRQ2 Character sheets and generators.
I'm currently converting your MRQ2 Excel spreadsheet to Open Office and updating it with all the Elric content for Character generation.
If you're OK with that, I'd like to upload the Elric Character generator to the Wiki when it's done.

I've also got 2 short Elric scenarios on the go.
I've playtested them both already, I just have to get them in a format that I would like to submit to S&P.
If they aren't accepted into S&P I may as well publish them on the Wiki.

I thought in previous posts you said you didn't have anytime. You're a fiend, man. A fiend.

Not a problem at all. I've fallen behind a bit on updating the OOo and Excel versions of my character sheet, because I only ever use the online version.

So what's happening with the MRQ wiki now they've lost the Runequest name?
I assume you'll have to change it to the Wayfarer Wiki or something?

Will you have to take down all the Glorantha content?
Maybe you can get permission from issaries to keep it up?

I've asked Halfbat if he wants to talk to Moon Design or if he would like me to do it.

I've cleared the wiki with Jeff. New text on the main page covers us. If you're worried about the "Greg Stafford and Issaries, Inc., reserve the right to use any Gloranthan names, places, and concepts, from any Original Material, in any future Gloranthan development or publications, without further credit or payment" clause, note that it covers concepts only, not full text, e.g. If you write a scenario that implies that the Queen of the Colymar swings both ways and has a "manservant" called Bob, they can use that in future material.

Good work!

Possibly later in the year it might be an idea to remove the MRQ logo and so on but maybe actually call it "Mr Qwiki" which is a great name anyway but prevents it from having any sort of RQ infringements. I guess there shouldn't be any harm in using it for MRQ1, MRQ2 and TGFKARQ.

The New MRQ Wiki!

Given the problems that have been plaguing the old MRQ Wikipaedia, we've spent the last week setting up and replicating it to a new server under a new name, where we can have some better control over managing access to it. We can also expand the website part of it as necessary, too.

So, the MRQ Wiki is now at:

http://www.mrqwiki.com/

or, for the front page of the Wiki itself:

http://mrqwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page.

I think Magistus and I have copied everything across (Magistus has done a fantastic job, here, and deserves plenty of applause and praise). If you find any problems, do let us know.

We will be adding further security features to it as things go along - the main issue is making sure they work with the latest version of the Wiki.

Have fun with the new Wiki!

Fantastic u did a a good job i appriciate it.............

What's the situation with the Wiki now MRQ2 is Legend?
The wiki has not changed. Just like if there was an AHRQ3 Wiki, it could still continue to exist despite the demise of that particular edition. MRQ2 still exists, I have a copy on the desk next to me and I am still running it with my gaming group.

If someone wants to make a Legend wiki, then I'm sure that the active membership of the MRQ2 Wiki community (otherwise known as "me") would support efforts to port any useful MRQ2Wiki content across.

Unless Mr. Sceaptune Games, who hosts the wiki, contradicts me...
