Dilettante is now part of the Noble Career.

Actually that is quite true, Dilettante hasn't so much been dropped as recategorized. In MgT 2e, Dilettante is recognised as an assignment. In MgT 1e, Dilettante is a complete career path.
MgT 2e:
Noble Career Path has three possible assignments {Administrator, Diplomat, or Dilettante}
MgT 1e:
Dilettante Career Path has three possible assignments {Wastrel, Socialite, or Philanthopist}

The only "problem" I see with 2e careers is that there are now so many skills, including specialisations, that it is very difficult build a balanced set of characters, with good general "adventuring" skills, and several possibly useful "niche" skills.

I worked out a system where players roll extra dice and select the results they want. It limits their options, but gives them a bit more control in character development.

And then I use a modified experience system for post-creation advancement.

What an adult does in their own home with a consenting adult is no one's business.
What is done TO a child in a public school is the parent's business.
I do not see where this should be a problem with any sane person.
I also do not see where fiction should be taught as fact in schools.
I don't care who works on the game, as long as they are CAPABLE and COMPETENT.
Right to exit? If you aren't making that decision for someone else in the process or in lieu of your own exit, and a hotline doesn't help, there isn't much I can do to stop you. Perhaps you mean right to EXIST? Of course you have a right to exist. You do not have a right to force me to buy into any fantasies some other person has, though. That goes against decades of mental health professional training. To have people arrested for looking at you and correctly identifying your sex is insane. If you WANT to change your plumbing, do it as an adult on your dime. I don't care, but SCIENCE proves that 80% of kids who actually have that condition grow out of it when their brain is fully developed at the age of 25. Let kids be kids. SCIENCE also shows that counselling improves the suicide rates of afflicted people. Without counselling, neither surgery nor blockers are statistically significant factors in reducing those suicide rates. THAT is the science, as the people running that cottage industry in Europe are finding out while being sued over misrepresenting the facts.

Now, who you love is no fantasy. But it also isn't anyone's business. And no, that doesn't mean keep it in the closet - but there is no reason to talk to kids in a classroom setting, who are too young for sex-ed, about it unless it is with a counsellor because they are having issues.

Civility. If you look around, you will notice that there is a certain mentality that always talks about civility and acceptance... and yet they are the least civil or accepting when any alternative viewpoint is presented that disrupts their own perception of reality. They are also the ones who call wide scale looting, murder and arson across several cities "peaceful protests."

There is a saying about the mote in my eye versus the beam in yours that should be considered here.

You've expressed a stance which is counter to the well being and propersity of a marginilzed group. You've stated fears that arent true, and a desire for them to remain unseen and unheard.
Those are bigoted positions.
You may also be a faccist or a white surpremists. You havent aired out those stances yet. Though at least one of those groups wouldnt mind having you. The other has a slightly more strict application process. Though they do make exceptions.
Anyway if you dont want to be a bigot. Then dont express those stances which make you, or change your stances and acknowledge that LBGT+ folks and trans folks and whichever group you think are made up are real. And they're real people. With real dreams. With real love. With real family.
And trying to dismiss them, and hide them, and shame them is only hurting them.
Its hurting them for no rational reason.
The world is wider then you are. Its oky to not understand them. Thats not a requirement of tolerance.

Thats folks that are for marginalizing poeple. You have to argue against them and be unpleasant to them, thats how you counter folks who hold and express stances which support the current and future harm or marginilzed folks. If you leave their snippets of bigotry go unchallenge, it sigansl others, that they can start smaking those comments. While I dont hold ill will for James Rowe for blocking them. That action doesnt prevent them from contining promoting and continuance of hate.

There no value in their stance. There no value in it, because its irrational. It has nothing of any substance to back it up, outside of fear of difference. It dehumanizing and othering because queers et all arent sticking to some standard. They always existed, homosexal and asexual and various forms of trans and gender expression have always been around. Its not something that western colleges invented to own conversatives. They existed when they were childern too.
You may be interested to learn about the concept of paradox of tolerance. You have to be intolerant of the intolerant. Its the only functional means for a tolerant society to exist.
