Blood from the Sky a Mongoose RuneQuest Game set in 2nd Age Glorantha for upto six players written and narrated by Newt Newport.
The Sun Dragon has usurped the rightful Emperor of Dara Happa, and now the Empire is controlled by the forked tongued agents of the Empire of the Wyrms Friends. In the northern most province of the empire, the city of the builder god Serris retains its independence. Sure it pays its taxes to the Draconicans, but none of its missionaries will be admitted into the city to sully the people’s worship of the pure sky. That is until the Sun Dragon sits on Serris’ suspended golden throne, which only a rightful emperor may do and live. They say the Sun Dragon intends to visit Serris soon, accompanied by a Dragon army massing to the south.
Mean while in the Desolation, the wasteland that surrounds Serris, the very blood of the Gods slain during the Gods War, falls to earth coalescing as magical Runes. You and your group of Runehunters search for them, integrating them for the magical powers they possess or selling them on to the highest bidder.
