Malleus Monstrorum used with new runequest

I was wondering what are peoples thoughts on the possibility of using this product with the new Runequest game. I plan on getting it anyway due to being a fan of reading/playing/dming COC, though would love to use it in a potential homebrew Runequest Game.

When I saw this product available I immediately said I need to have that book, yep need is definately the word :D

Here is a link for the product in question

True but it should be pretty easy to convert it over. Say like take Siz + Con and use that for total hit points and then look at the chart for hit allocation.

that'd be my idea. Of course a lot of cthulhoid critters might defy hit locations. If you use a critter that has only one location, give it HP as SIZ+CON rather than the average (i.e. double what COC says), since it will be much much more vulnerable than a creature that has individual locations.

Same goes for Stormbringer critters too, really.

The Call of Cthulhu modern age supplement... I think it's called Cthulhu now!, has rules for hit loactions for most of the major critters.

The only thing Cthulhu Now lacks as far as hit location rules go are Armor points. That shouldn't be too hard to extrapolate. How is the Malleus Monstrorum btw, I've heard some disenchanting reviews regarding the quality of cover and binding.
