Odly, I quite like the KaBinTak, but hated the G'Vrahn, although didn't understand the spikey bits on the kabintak, and it was too big, and I refuse to pay £30 for a model that will rarely get fielded

If I remember the tech fluff, the 'spikey bits' are thrusters for Gravatic Drives. Kind of like the Centauri and Minbari fins.

Hi guys,

There have been some mumblings recently about the EA getting a lot of attention, and questions raised about the alien races.

Well, first off, the EA are our biggest customers. By far. They are also relatively easy to produce models for (Tiger Starfury, Command Omega, for example), which means that, I am afraid, they will always get a fair bit of attention. Nature of the beast, I am afraid.

However, all is not lost if you are an alien. We are an equal opportunities ship yard so, as a sneak peek, expect to see in 2007;

Two new races - the pak'ma'ra and Gaim. And the Gaim will be like nothing you have seen yet. . .
The Psi Corps/Covert EA (okay, not technically alien).
The Technomage Pinnace (almost alien).

Drakh Mothership (already on its way to the office, I am told, along with the new Vree Z'Takk).
Drakh Patrol Cruiser.
Vree Xorth and Zonn.
Breaching Pods for everybody!
Drazi Firehawk.
Abbai Juyaca.
More Brakiri than you can shake a dead Llort at!

_If_ we get time, we are also going to start work on alien transport/civilian vessels (space stations slated for 2008 at the moment).

The ISA and EA get some more love too. Naturally. The evolution of the Thunderbolt, the Blue Star, Ranger frigates. We'll also be doing some 'one offs' that won't necessarily have a fleet list but can be used in special games - Hurr Gunships, Lumati Transports, Ipsha War Globes, and so forth. If any prove popular, we'll consider them fleet list material in the future.

Oh, and Jump Gates. . .

Few things:
A- Brakiri, have you seen some of the concepts for new armageddon level warships(specifically Brivioki replacements) that I and some others have done? If not I am sure I can dig them up for you. If so are you considering them? Please?
B- The hell is a Blue Star?
C- What about the Ka'Bin'tak and those other missing Armageddon vessels?
D- What are Hurr Gunships?
E- More info on Gaim please?
F- Counters for new ships(seriously they are the only way I'm ever gonna get a game in, although I have heard tell that if people enjoy it with counters they may buy some minis too)?

You mean the Ka'bin'tak isn't just a normal bintak with some extra bits? It's BIGGER?

I thought it was too. As far as I can remember, and if I'm remembering this right, the Bluestar was a Smaller version of a Whitestar used for extreme long ranged scouting missions. It didn't require much in the way of crew at all, and could be easily manned by one person.

yup, that was it, it was smaller, looked smoothe and lightly blue I recall, was in the second last episode, or therabouts, Sheridan flew to the rim in it and was never seen again.

I wouldn't hold your breath unforutnately (if your the chap who made those nice Brakiri scratchbuilds a while back they were very cool ) Still he did say lots of new brakiri goodness and there ARE alot of designs from B5Wars that havent been redone yet for ACTA

Basically its a small scout whitestar, the ship sheridan flies right at the end of season 5 before he 'stops' as said (sorry for the spoiler if you havent seen all the show ). Im expecting it to be a smirmish or possibly patrol (though considering WS fighters are skirmish I seriously doubt it will be partol..) level scout for the ISA

C- What about the Ka'Bin'tak and those other missing Armageddon vessels?

Good question. I'm all for new stuff but it would be nice if the CURRENT releases actually surfaced first....

D- What are Hurr Gunships?

I THINK theyre some nasty race that had a scrap with either the Minbari or the Centauri sometime in the past (I forget) in the AoG background fluff books (which acording to JMS are canon so thats good enough for me ). Not sure on this one though.

E- More info on Gaim please?

The Gaim in B5Wars/Fleet Action are basically an insectoid species. Theyre the ones that weare the full enviornment suits with the big buy eyes on the show (you only see one). In the AoG games most of their ships were converted hulls bought from other races/salvaged from when the Centauri tried to attack them in the past.

They were supposedly VERY formidable in ground combat having lots of different trypes of insect species (so the little abasador ones I would assume are not the ones that fight, having instead 'soldier drones' that are huge and deadly etc etc). Think SST Arachnids.... that said Matt has said theyre going to be somewhat different so Im guessing they will have their own ships now but hopefully will still be deadly in ground invasion/boarding actions and carry lots of troops/breaching pods.

I'm guessing there will be a full counter set with second edition when it eventually arrives, but I doubt we will see anything before then . Still there are counters for MOST ships already and you can always proxy. And armageddon counter set would be nice but noone has said anything about one as far as I know

Yes it was Corianna VI, he stopped off at B5/Epsilon for a chat with Zack before JMS turned off the lights, then flew off to Corianna.

Nah, he was walking around on the bridge, which looked almost the size of a White Star's. You don't do that in a fighter.
