Looking for good sample of space Combat

We went through our first Space Combat the other night and it was fun but we totally missed Sustained Damage. I am looking at it now and Whoa! Devastating.
So I believe we are doing everything right but I would love a full walk through to validate everything and share with my group between sessions. Does anyone here know of a YouTube Space Combat run through that you like?

I really liked the combat system from Renegade Legion. It seemed to work out pretty well and it also had the player thinking about how to maneuver to bring weapons to bear and protect your damaged armor. There were two types of weapons, one that dug holes in your armor and another that took off layers. It made for some interesting combat. Missiles were very strong, but a ship might only carry 1 full salvo (or 3 much smaller ones). Fighters had a place as well and could be devastating in large numbers.

You also may want to look at Star Fleet Battles. The shields could be converted to armor, though the maneuver system had intertialess movement, so that wouldn't quite fit into Traveller. Then again the current movement system doesn't work either since it's supposed to be Newtonian, but ships can spend 4 turns at 25G to catch up to someone and then magically stay in range without having to pay a deceleration cost.

The original Starfire system had pretty basic, and fast, combat. In that the order you placed your components could mean life for death.

Just ask your questions here that you have on space combat.

Yes, some of us have experience rolling in space combat, although none, I assume, have recorded a video. @AnotherDilber is especially experienced in the quirks of space combat and has posted a lot of simulations on this forum.

My experience, as a player, is with 100 dton ship, 400 dTon and 500 dTon. We've used everything except torpedos, bays and spinal weapon and probably all of the rules (except dogfighting - we killed the fighters with priority before they could reach us), including docking for boarding.

The space combat is slower and a notch more strategical. I advise distributing the processing (calculations) among the players on the ship - meaning one should operate the software, another the weapons, another the manoeuvres, another the damage and critical hits, the sensors/EW, the power and so on. If one player tries to cover all, he might miss something or get overwhelmed, especially at the start.

Anyone made a flow chart? Flow charts are sweet.
This may be one. http://img.4plebs.org/boards/tg/image/1374/08/1374083915541.png

And for you Scout explorer types, here's the link to the hosting archive. http://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/26063855

This flow is for personal combat for the 1st edition. It's quite detailed though.

I will make a draft (means ugly) and post it here for quick evaluation. It won't be that much detailed though, but you will have an idea of the general flow.

Keep in mind the flow is different from the first edition.
