Latest News on A Call to Arms: Star Fleet

Here in the UK we have literally a handful of open orders for Fed fleet sets, Klingon squadrons amd a few singles - we have run dry on stocks of these but will be replenished in a few days. We will dispatch them immediatly. So, if you are waiting, you won't be waiting long.
I'm guessing that I'm one of the handful. By a few days do you mean likely to reach us before the weekend by any chance?
*is hoping to start work on his fleet on Sunday ready for the tourny*

We are dependant on UPS but yes, that is the aim!

Looks like this will be the final update on this thread...

Local stores in the US and Canada will have access to ther Federation and Klingon Squadron/Fleet sets, well, now - in fact, we know some stores already have stock.

There are literally a handful of current mail orders left for these sets, and these will all be going out this week.

Romulan fleet sets are being manufactured right now, and mail orders will start going out this week - with the vagaries of getting stock from the US to the UK, we are proecting about 10 days to get all of these sets out. 'Singles' (those ships ordered on their own) have been going out in a steady stream, and we are looking to complete these at the same time as the Romulans (and this includes single Romulan ships). They will appear in stores mid-May (it takes a short while for things to rattle their way through the distribution system).

If you are at Salute this year, you will find the full, current range available, plus Mongoose staff to harrass about the next wave :)

There is a new errata file to download - see the thread for details. We are also prepping a PDF version of the rulebook which will be made availabel within the next few days to everyone who has bought a printed version.

Next up will be the Federation Reinforcements Squadron set. We hope to have a few these at the tournament next week, and mail orders for this (and singles of the ships within) will go out a few days after. Expect to see the Klingon vs. Orion set hot on its heels (as in, within days of the Federation Reinforcements appearing).

The next biggie will be the Kzinti fleet set. These are currently having their ears put on (no, seriously...) and then production moulds will start being made next week. We are just waiting for their pocket rulebook to come back from print, but we will start shipping these out in May.

Are the Gorn here yet mister, anyone seen the Gorn, whats happening with the Gorn, when can we get the Gorn

As the Gorn are slow and Lumbering they would take time getting out of the mini's foundry. Also as it is cold this time of year we all know lizards do not do well in the cold.

Does anyone really WANT the Gorn?

I know a few of us NEED the Gorn to fill out the SFU but WANT? I'm not so sure.

Looks like my Klingon Fleet box is one of the last remaining handful :) Still, looking forward to receiving this box as well.

I'll pick up a Gorn fleet (in a plain paper wrapper, Feds have a public image to maintain  ) and I'm sure a couple of squadron boxes as well. What I'm really looking forward to is an Alliance game where we have Federation, Kzinti, Gorn & Tholian against the Klingons, Romulans and Lyrans.

That might call for a rule where the Kzinti and Lyrans ignore everything else to go after each other and the Gorns and Romulans go after each other as well while the Klingons and Feds decide who to annoy at leisure.

I'm also one from the handful. My account still shows my Klingon fleet hasn't shipped, so I'll continue working on my Feds.

We do all right in the cold but being sensible Dinosaurs we have this PR campaign that says we hate the cold which is how we talked the Federation into letting us set up our Trade liaison and embassy in the Bahamas

So that’s 6 Gorn fleet boxes, five normal ones and one in a plain brown wrapper for Mckinstry

Plus either a bunch of the useful individuals or wait till the rest of the squadron boxes arrive for all those extra BDDs and CMs.

Then I’ll be looking to do a wreck marker or two with those CLs.

Got shipping confirmation that the Romulans are cloaked in the post :D.

Enough time for me to paint them for the tourney :D
