Inconsistent Art in Traveller

Call me crazy, but the Art in Traveller is not consistent. Especially for Imperial Equipment. For years we saw what I thought was Imperial Marine Battle Dress, except, that's not what Imperial Battle Dress looks like.
But was that not Imperial Battle Dress.
I get like the Artist for Armies of the Frontier War for Imperial Kit, went, "I'm redesigning all there Imperial armor".

Actually, the game developer (aka Matt) specifically wanted the Army's battle dress to be more 'oomph' and directed the artist to do that. The Imperial Marine Battle dress, which is the maroon armor with the swept back helmet, remains the Imperial marine battle dress.

That's why there are pictures of both in the book.

Then at least deliberately state that. Having s picture that just says Imerpial Battledress, makes you think that this is the new design. So in the art Imperial Army Battledress (infact give it its own designation, IM-7 G'rmund Tactical Battledress for the Amry).
