I am ordering more Firing Arc Stickers, want some?

Im pretty certain the mini-rulebook isnt a small version of the main rulebook (a la FoW), but a cut down set of covering the core rules needed to play and without all the extra bits in the main rulebook.

If Im wrong then the fleet boxes become very attractive.

I have some of the fleet box rulebooks, and they omit the background information, campaign info, and only have a couple of Empire's worth of ship stats. BUT the new editions seem to have errata incorporated as well. For example, the Gorn/Kzinti edition of the Fleet box rules mentions the 3-drone ship attack limit.

The mini-rulebook is a mostly complete book.
It only has one scenario and no tactical challenges. Not the plethora presented in the full book.
The rules for shuttlecraft/suicide shuttles are inexplicably absent.
The mini-rulebook does not include the rules for Stellar Debris (terrain)
The mini-rulebook does not have the campaign rules that are in the main rulebook.
The mini-rulebook lacks the Empire specific fluff present in the full rulebook (20+ pages)
The mini-rulebook does include the full fleet lists for all empires, including variants - but it does not include the historical information on the units presented.
And since the online errata is geared towards the full rulebook, the page references for the revisions will not match. It will take a bit of effort to mark revisions in the mini-rulebook.

Tony,

I have 2 fleet box rulebook editions here. One came from an earlier Fleet box, does not mention the 3-drone ship attack limit, and has Fed, Klingon, and Rom ship stats. The second came from a Gorn Fleet box, is labelled on the cover Gorn/Kzinti edition, does mention the 3-drone ship limit, and has ship stats for the Gorns and Kzinti only. :) Funky, isn't it?

Yes I had expected a FOW style "mini rulebook" complete in every way. Otherwise they probably should have called it something else. So I have ordered a "maxi rulebook".

Stickers are ordered, and had a few extra made in case someone else wants some. Should be about a week and I'll then start notifying people.

The stickers are in, and notifications are going out to those who bought them. I have a few left over if someone wants to get some who didn't sign up earlier.

How much are these stickers? Do they stick pretty good to the bases?

They go on top of the bases, and stick well. They require some effort to get off. :)

They are $.75 USD each plus actual USPS shipping. I do international orders as well (via Paypal only).

I still have 25 stickers left, if anyone needs any. I had two guys bail out on me without even the common courtesy of a cancellation notice.

I should mention that the remaining stock has a very minor misalignment of the stickers; it doesn't affect gameplay, and is not very noticeable, but I thought I should mention it.

Bill,

Got mine in the mail today and they look very nice. Stuck one on a base and it went on without a problem. Can you use a dry erase pen on the white area?

Wish I could pick up those extra 25 from you, but can't do it right now. :(

Thanks again!

Chris

I use dry erase on the white part every game with no problem.

Chris, you can use a dry erase pen. I normally use a marker that can be removed with alcohol or water. Some folk say you can use a permanent marker, but I can't confirm it comes off again, and so I won't recommend it.

I tried wax pencils and they didn't always come off 100%, so they aren't recommended.

I use the "wet-erase" vis-a-vis markers on mine.
Dry erase can be rubbed off curing movement, vis-a-vis seems a bit more durable.

I am taking pre-orders for the next batch, whenever that turns out to happen.

I still have the 25 stickers with minor misalignment if someone needs some stickers before the next batch is produced.

what's the shipping to texas on 100? I'd like to give the other potential buyer at my game store a estimate of what we'll split.

Bill,

Do you have any more of these?

Bob

I've got 60 slight seconds, they aren't perfectly centered, but are still useable. I'm selling these at $.50 each + actual shipping (instead of the normal $.75 each). I don't have any pre-orders for more of the regular stickers, so I can't justify ordering more at this point (minimum order is 200 pcs for best price).

Bill,

I don't have an issue with seconds, they really don't look that far off. I'm assessing what I need, I'll PM you when I'm ready to order.

Thanks

Bob
