Sounds great. Your Centauri War PDF was excellent. In fact all of the fan made PDF's are great quality and content.

I am working on a Ipsha War Sphere in my current batch of builds. I tend to work on about half a dozen different builds at a time to reduce the boredome factor and allows me time off on each build to solve the problems as they arise.

I intend to use the basic AOG designs as a template to scratchbuild the rest of my Ipsha fleet but that will again be much later this year. So your supplement will be very useful

My offer stands re the GW TAU pictures if you don't get anything better.

Da Boss - will post pics when the entire current batch of scratchbuilds is ready, working on 6 different ships at the moment, including, I am sure you will be interested, a Sekhamet which is the closest to completion. Estimate end August when all 6 to be ready for viewing.

Scratchbuilding is easier than you think, I used to say the same as you. One of the secrets is having the right materials to hand, which really boils down to the right source to buy from. After many years a great modeller on the BFG forums passed on the name 4D, a company in London who are the best source of anything you would possibly need for model building, (including hemispheres which I am using for the Ipsha shpere and my 3rd Space model).

To be honest the most difficult part is coming up with the original basic idea for a new ship design, for that you only need imagination, and from "Darkness Rising", (continues to be a great piece of work by the way), I can see that you have that area easily covered.

the Sekhamet - very cool - am playing with a comversion of a BattleTech ship to make one but love to see it done properly!

well the ipsha have spheres, cubes, hexagons so they have lots of scope

The modelling challenge with the Ipsha is sticking to the geometry but still making them into a cool looking ship which of course the canon ship definitely is, (& captured well by the Mongoose miniature). The canon ship of course is the least geometrical of the AOG concepts. I have sketched up a few ideas particularly for the Carrier Cube and the Pyramid Shaped frigate. I am making up the War Sphere as I go along.

Alternatively; a couple of marbles, a 4 sided and a 6 sided dice and were away.
