hit trait for the Chinook in modern combat

I've noticed that the hit trait for the chinook for the british and the U.S. army are not the same. It is 10 for the brits and 8 for the U.S. It is probably an error because it's the same aircraft so i want to know wich trait i have to take in consideration. :?

If anything I'd have thought it would be the other way round, if they're meant to be different. I don't have my rules here, but if they've both got the same points cost I'd take them to have Hits/8. The Osprey's only got Hits/6 and it's roughly the same size.
