Drow War Signature Weapons

How many players have destroyed their signature weapon yet. With all the weapon destroying creatures that are in book 1 (acid based) it seems to me that weapon life is not very long.

I've had to counter this by giving signature weapons more hit points and hardness. Have others just let them get broken or changed things to stop it happening?

I think I would just rule by GM fiat that signature weapons are indestructable. They are, after all, an extension of the heroes who use them. Or perhaps they can be 'resurrected' in the same way that characters can.
