At Neon Con in early November they were hoping for a March/April release.

If it helps I really enjoyed playing it, and it taught everyone the importance of wearing an EV suit and not wearing one.

Is it too late in the production process to change the font? As I have looked at the previews and Traveller requires a clear and clean font...the one previewed on the Wildfire site almost looks child-like and very much like what they used Cthulhutech (reading that font used to give me headaches). Times New Roman or whatever the bulk of other Traveller products use would be best...plus, ties in with clear product identity pointing people back to Mongoose Traveller.

Nothing on the Cthulhutech forums for some time either...having some real doubts about this coming out. This is unfortunate. I am a Traveller old-timer but was looking forward to this as a fun change of pace....even went out and bought some Rafm Cthulu monster figs.

I wouldn't give up on this just yet. Besides Forums mean nothing. Judging by forums I am the only person on the planet running the FATE based Starblazer RPG, but I'm not.

Darned, I was looking for to see their view on statted powerful creatures (like dholes and Spawns of Cthulhu) ala Traveller

Can we ask what happened? Pre-orders too low? Color printing costs too high? Last minute licensing issues?

And, yes, a PDF release would be wonderful if possible. It's a great idea for a game. Any chance of that?

I was just told that they are preparing a news release, and that it is good news, not bad news, so hopefully they are still releasing this, for Traveller, just Mongoose will not be the publisher.

Thats what I am hoping to hear anyways.
