Help with determining Stellar Orbits: WBH.

I apologize if anyone has already answered this question. I'm trying to figure out how to do the orbits of companion and other stars. On page 27, there is an example that reads:
To begin fleshing out the Zed quintuple system, the 1D and 2D-7 rolls for the companion star's (Ab) Orbit# are 1 and -1.
Where did those number come from?

I have twin companion K9 V stars with masses of 0.655 and diameters of 0.716. If anyone could step me through the process of figuring out the orbits, I would be most grateful.

The numbers 1 and -1 are just examples of the results of example 1D and 2D-7 rolls from the Companion row of the Stellar Orbit# Ranges table just above. So for those results the Orbit Number Determination becomes 1÷10 + (-1)÷100 = 0.1 - 0.01 = 0.09.
