Chronological Conan?

So, I've read several of Howard's stories in the past, but got the new anthologies for Christmas. Should I read the stories in the order published like in the books or how they happened in Conan's life chronologically as stated here:

It is all a matter of preference. l like to read them in the order they were written these days.
