What I really wish they'd do is is a Fire, Fusion and Steel type book, and take care of all those design systems in one go. It would probably be the most useful resource for any iteration of Mongoose Traveller possible, rather then spread the stuff over different books, in different settings.

I loved the Hammer's Slammers books and stories, but I'm not all that interested in roleplaying in that setting. I don't want to be forced to buy a book in that setting just to get access to vehicle design rules.

A setting-neutral technical architecture book, even (or especially) if it had tech options reflective of the various Traveller settings Mongoose is working on, would be a better way of approaching things.

Seconded Vote.

I'm not using 3i, I don't intend on running Hammers Slammers, so This would be perfect.

Thirded. Though we don't really need to duplicate the ship design rules found in High Guard. Although a book with a more advanced and detailed starship creation with more options wouldn't be a bad idea. Vehicles design is currently completely lacking and shouldn't only be available in a setting specific book.

I would really like to see some teaser for Central Supply Catalog.

Is it going to be like Central Supply Catalog or more like FCI: Consumer Guide?

So... I wonder when Mongoose is actually going to release a brand new Traveller product, as opposed to something based on or that has the same name as one that came out in a previous edition?

I guess Agent will be a new product? But is there anything else in the pipeline that's original?

Psion?

Along with The Universe of Babylon 5, The Trouble with Drazi, Warships of Babylon 5, Hammers Slammers, Tripwire...

I meant for the Charted Space part of Traveller, not everything else :)

Tripwire still qualifies then.

The Aslan book might have new material on the Trojan Reaches sector for 1105? That would be cool.

Mike

Umm, at the risk of getting back on topic - will this book update the old Traveller retro-SF technology, and will there be any design rules?

I would guess "no" to both questions, but then I'd be guessing. :P
