Bounty Hunter: Errata

I think the number of folks who dont like you cant die, have moved or have grown smaller as a percentage as as a whole.
Dying has its place in a solo minigame of character creation, but makes little sense in a group setting, especially with the connections rules. ("So yeah I met this Vargr lady and we did this heist where I was the getaway driver, and that's why I'm so good at flyer(grav), but then she died.")

I think the career not kicking you out is more intended to be a, 'Well they can't stop you calling yourself a bounty hunter even if no-one will hire you and you're essentially blacklisted from every group/guild'. Even the worst bounty hunter you could possibly imagine can still call themselves that, as it's not a centralised or even really regulated career.

and what has replaced them... what has sold the new blood to try to this game... fall in love with it.

hint... and saved to the point at hand he made...

the game within the game...

Bounty Hunter character creation as written gets away from what makes the game so great. Forget the fear of dying.. you can't even get kicked out.. you are just rolling up big score/high skill super heroes to get your Bounty Hunter pop culture freak on... that isn't Traveller now is it. It is the foul preversion of what D&D has become from its original version...... epic power gaming by superhero wannabes where death.. the fear of death .. is just something the old farts playing AD&D or BX only have to worry about. Give me my super powers damnit!!! Or skills.. or high REP...

IMO of course..

for discussions sake lol.
You have a defination of power gaming and cinematic which is very alien to me.
This great concern, doesnt align with someone that is min maxing. Its only minizing their effectiveness.
The great concern is someone that keeps staying in Bounty Hunter for term after term even though they keep failing.
Which means the only thing they're getting is 1 skill at 1 or +1. Thats it. No benny rolls. No additional skill from being promotion. No additional bennys from Events.
If someone ended up doing this, they would have an under skilled character compared to someone that had any amount of success in any career.
I suppose its possible for someone t0o fail 4 terms of Bounty hunter and get one skill at +3. But all their other skills would be at zero. They have no money, no equipment.

Just a start:
p. 153 Rango Dooley. The text and stats (except species) has him as a Lurent ("a 4-metre-tall, 500 kilogram Lurent"), but the picture - and species tag is Human.
I see Rango is still cunningly disguised as a normal human. Included is a picture of a Lurent :)

Q. The Exfil Ornithopter: Is it really supposed to use the Flyer (rotor) skill and not the Flyer (ornithopter)?
