Bounty Hunter: Errata

Geir

Emperor Mongoose
Just a start:
p. 153 Rango Dooley. The text and stats (except species) has him as a Lurent ("a 4-metre-tall, 500 kilogram Lurent"), but the picture - and species tag is Human.

Grand Yacht Electrum is pretty advance for a TL 5 ship (pg 138). Didn't even realize that they HAD spacecraft that low on the tech level.:D

Page 84: Bounty Bot "Guilds may keep these to hand" I believe this is incorrect it could be either "Guilds may keep these on hand" or "Guilds may keep these to hand out". "Hand out" would seem wrong when compared to "assigned out" instead.

Page 77: "If the Travellers contact the starport authorities to enquire after the Silver Lining but they have no record of her." could be re-written to "If the Travellers contact the starport authorities to enquire about the Silver Lining, they have no record of her docking". Either way "after" should be "about" in any case.

"To hand" is, if I understand, the typical British English usage, and that is what Traveller is written in now. Same for "enquire after".

Very much enjoying what I’m reading so far!

I love Mandalorian style jetpack! In a grav-based setting like Traveller, it might not be that useful, but it sure is a fun inclusion! I might personally wanna give it a couple more uses given its size and mass, but that’s just personal opinion.

I found a couple of minor issues:

P.84 “The bot’s internal power core charges the gun” sounds like a laser weapon, except the stat block shows it having an autopistol (and gun combat (slug)).

P.104 “13” should be Low Berths, meaning 13-16 should all jump one step (current 13 becomes 14, 14 becomes 15 and so on)

P.121-122 the Stat block on p.121 specifies five docking clamps, but the deck plan on the next page shows six.

P.139 deck plan has two “Lower deck”, the fuel decks and the one with bridge and docking space.

One other thing that might be a mistake is ...

For Nalasha Enoch Petrava, you have a skill Precognition 0. The only psi skills I know of are the five basic ones from the core book and Zhodani from AoCS 1. Is there a Precognition skill or is it a mistake?

And another point, I see the Mustering out Benefits now go up to 8!

There are 2 events for the career that give a +1 to the benny roll, and if you get rank 5? you gain nother +1, so +2 is possible. So rolling an 8 is possible, if unlikely.
Yeh, there were also possibilities of that happening in previous careers (and don't forget having a gambler skill for a 9)!

A very very minor and hardly worth mentioning detail: Hadia Dolezal. KNOWN ASSOCIATEs. The small s.

Depending on country of origin (or country of reader) the separator could be either a comma or a period, but perhaps to keep with the lack of symbol, simply group numbers of ten thousand or higher by threes: 10 000 or 1 000 000, but still 9999, would satisfy all requirements? Maybe?

Never mind country of origin, the comma is the correct way. A . denotes a decimal. :)
Alternatively you could just use standard form (or scientific form for the colonials).

9.999 to me says nine point nine nine nine
9,999 to me says nine thousand nine hundred and ninety nine, which could also be written as 9.999x10^3
