If the WSC-2 is still a 3+ dodge then that's exactly what I recommended in the first place for ship balance so I'd be happy with it. As for the WS - it's basically become the tournament WS that I'm also very happy about.
 
well cant remember that much more, does have lots of AD on all weapons as well as the 4 mentioned rutarion flights, GEG3, think flight computer and command things but cant remember exact details. the forward firing particle array has something like 20AD if i remember correctly. was a ship i looked at lots being an avid centauri player myself :)

if i get the chance again will try to pick up more info where possible.
 
one of the few i think rates armageddon level and outclasses most other armageddon level ships IMO. altho the new improved victory is certainly good and the narns have been learning too and have started putting interceptors on their ships.
 
didnt think much of it. warclass ship but not the firepower for warclass IMO. all forward firing if remember correctly but fast and 2 turns, dodge 5+ and all weaopns capable of anti fighter, basically its a whitestar hunter but not good for much else IMO.
 
An anti-fighter ship at war level might be too expensive to counter fighter-using races, but it will have its uses. Maybe only in big games, but I can see it being used as an escort for an Adira...
 
well will be useful against any whitestar variant due to them all having dodge, think the gunship outguns it tho. but cant see its use in any battle other than v ISA

one more thing i just remembered after readin someones use of AJP bombs:
normal jump points scatter 2d6 minus your crew quality score. advanced jump points is 1d6 minus crew quality score. mostly AJPs will only scatter on 5 or 6 now but its better than nothing even if is 1-2 inches, also means you an jump point bomb with normal jump points if you want revenge on the AJP bombers.

And that would be the other major rules tweak then (and it totally slipped under the radar of the changes people expected from Armageddon)
 
I do like many of the tweaks, jump point scatter in particular sounds great.

Hope they WS-2 isn't 4+ dodge. Statistically it looks good but has that 'its all dice' feel that stealth often has. Ah well maybe if you could reduce the dodge through some mechanic it would feel okay. Would have prefered the thing went to hull six.

Adaptive on the Victory and ten dice is scary, but not as scary as the geg3 on the adira. Practically invulnerable to smaller ships arrays. The abbai better be building some damage multiplier weapons in the ugly brick or they will never beat the drahk and their centauri spawn. WHERE IS MY JUYACA! I want quad bolter arrays.

Wow, I suggested that off the bat a long while ago as people were complaining of suffering from extensive AJP bombing madness for a while. I'm happy to know it made the grade for game improvement:D

I doubt that the WSC-2 dodge will be better than the vanilla WS. I'm surprised if the WSC-L doesn't have a better dodge than the WS though.

We played two games using Armageddon ships today (testing out scenarios for S&P).

White Star fighters are great. WS Carrier good. Nemesis awesome. Marathon great.

As for rules tweaks, I can think of one that hasn't been mentioned.
 
Bah...fumbled my earlier post...

Should have said I hope the WS-2 is not dodge 3+. Hate making silly mistakes.
