Does anyone know why the centauri adira is so expensive? I dont think there are any other single models that even come close to it price wise.

it's a pretty hefty model to be sure, the Ka'BonTack and G'Vrahn would have been of similar asize, and the Brivoki probably larger if they had been released, Luckily someone came to their senses and those ships are being re-sculpted!

It is truely vast, as Hiffano pointed out the other models are pretty big the Brivoki was the size of a small car

Don't like the Liati model & Adira is too big but they would complete my Centauri.

Maybe time to bugger your friends for a huge mega battle then?-)

If you have any board that be set up permanently for a weekend or so and is big enough for engagement of that size they can be great fun

Alternatively maybe try convention etc and organise mega battle there? Pretty much same effect and again great fun.

if the liata is that big then it will dwarf the white star, yet supposedly is as agile and as fast? How does that work then?

Presume that as White Stars - big and small, have Vorlon tech the Liati has Drak/ Shadow tech - and good engines - which the Centauri have always had.............

Pluss, It's space you know, not exactly a thick atmosphere and friction to prevent a large ship being as maneuvreable as a small ship. Heck the Liati could be shaped like a brick and be as maneuvreable.

Well size DOES have a massive effect on maneuverability in space. Just because you dont have to be aerodynamic and theres no air resistance doesnt stop sheer mass making you alot slower to change your velocity.

SHAPE doesnt matter but size does. It could be the shape of a brick and still as maneuverable as a WS in space but if its a really really big brick then chances are it wont be unless it has WAY better engines.
