I have played a few games and have some questions.

1. When a critical is scored that says "lose 5 shields". Does this ship lose 5 shield points immediately from its current shield score?
Or does it lose 5 shield points from its starting (maximum) shield score?

2. Drones. Can this weapon be fired every turn? Can it be reloaded?

3. When a phaser scores a hull hit inside its kill zone. Should you throw 1 or 2 dice for hull damage?
If 1 die and a critical is scored, does this cause 1 or 2 levels of critical damage?

4. When a disruptor with multihit 2 scores a hull hit. Should you throw 1 or 2 dice for hull damage?
If 1 die and a critical is scored, does this cause 1 or 2 levels of critical damage?

5. If a drone hits a ship with 2 shield points remaining, and the multihit die roll is a 5.
The 2 shield points are removed first. This leaves 3 damage.
How many dice are rolled for hull damage?
Is it 3 dice for 3 hits,
or is it 1 die that scores 3 points of damage?

If it is 1 die and it scores a critical, does it cause 1 or 3 levels of critical damage?

It is from its starting shield score. This is explained in the FAQ.

Yes. Nasty, aren't they?

If a phaser is inside its Killzone it gains multi-hit 2. So each successful shot rolls 2 damage dice (or deducts 2 from shields). Each Hit can only inflict 1 critical. Criticals are only ever level one, unless the weapon has the Devastating trait.


4. When a disruptor with multihit 2 scores a hull hit. Should you throw 1 or 2 dice for hull damage?
If 1 die and a critical is scored, does this cause 1 or 2 levels of critical damage?

1 successful attack means you roll 2 dice. Each dice can inflict one level one critical.

5. If a drone hits a ship with 2 shield points remaining, and the multihit die roll is a 5.
The 2 shield points are removed first. This leaves 3 damage.
How many dice are rolled for hull damage?
Is it 3 dice for 3 hits,
or is it 1 die that scores 3 points of damage?

Roll 3 dice.

If it is 1 die and it scores a critical, does it cause 1 or 3 levels of critical damage?

Each dice can normally inflict one level of critical, however drones are Devastation, so it will inflict 2 levels of critical.

In you example, if you roll 3 dice and get three 6's then you inflict 3 criticals each at level 2. Roll four 3's for location and that becomes a level 6 reactor crit, BOOM!
