ACTA Dice good bad or just not needed

Now black dice that shimmer and sound like the Shadows would be my choice - anyone else got cool ideas - that are actually possible!

well, hordes and warmachine get their own faction dice and they sell well, I'd certainly buy some dice for my fleets

They could be in the color of the race, a blue or aquamarine for the Minbari, Red for the Narn, etc. They could also put an emblem for the particular race on the 6 spot. This would further identify the dice as to what race it is. Just something for fun, and I would buy a set.

Part of why the Warmachine and Hordes dice sell so well is because they come with a tin to carry tokens, cards, and a marker, as well as the dice.

But, yes, I've got 4 sets of PP dice (made by GF9) and their respective tins.

Of course, they've only got 9 different factions, currently, so their cost may be lower.

But, if Mongoose were to go that route for dice, I'd definately buy a couple of tins, at least.

I would pay for a brick of dice that are all black with some B5 color on the pips and have the B5 coat of arms as the logo on the ones instead of pips or on the 6s.

Need to replace my dices anyway. Those dices HAD to pick up some sort of curse when I went to England. My usual bad dice rolling went from bad to disasterous! Guess I got too close to certain Nik...

there have been B5 faction dice by AOG, at least for the major races - they sometimes still appear on ebay...

they could be like the one`s Amerillogames put out for SFB a few years ago,normal dice with either a log or a ship in place of the one.
That way you could sell a blister pack with all the dice in as a set.

could do a ship outline from each priority level

1 - Patrol, 2 Skir, 3 raid, 4 battle 5 war and 6 Arm

at least for those with that many ships..................and maybe a bit expensive

I like that one - basic ship outlines according to race. G´quan for Narn, Sharlin for Minbari... there´s a windows font called "B5 symbols" (or somethin like that) which features a couple of canon ships, symbols like those could look cool on dice

printed dice get worn away easily. I find the best are the ones with recessed markings - like the dice that "Descent" uses, vs. the dice that "Doom" uses.

Shadows don't need numbers on them since they never miss - you have to use dice with numbers aginst White Stars though

Yeah...I'd have to say I'd be a sucker for race specific dice...need all the bells and whistles for my collection of ACTA stuff
