A few of the planetary graphics I put together...

paltrysum

Emperor Mongoose
All are systems in Trojan Reach or the Spinward Marches:
Albe: https://ibb.co/ggYHGQ
Dostoevsky: https://ibb.co/cXueVk
Kydde: https://ibb.co/j72zVk
Quar: https://ibb.co/hudpVk
Tktk: https://ibb.co/ivaEwQ

These are fantastic!!!
What software is this?
Is this a world builder software you are using?
Can you 'unfold" the sphere to form a traditional Traveller world sheet?

Albe is going to be a major planet for one of my campaign plot hooks by the way. :)

I would love to have your skills! Great job!

Thank you!

I wish it were that sophisticated. I used two methods to do these:
1. Grab a planet image from the internet and manipulate it heavily in Photoshop to the point where it isn't recognizable anymore, adding textures, colors, and overlays and then dropping onto a space background, also found on the net. I don't borrow any copyrighted images but instead rely on things like the NASA's Eyes app. At least I hope that's not copyrighted. In any case, I use the images more as a template for overlays and new colors.
2. Freehand the planet in Adobe Illustrator, then manipulate in Photoshop to get the right nuances and details, and again, dropping in a space background (I have precious few of these and should probably get more; they're getting a little repetitive. ). I'm using this method more often now.

In the case of Tktk, I did a world map based on the graphic:

I used Mongoose's published world map template and used Adobe Illustrator to drop in the planetary features. I think I can get a little more sophisticated with this one, but it'll do for now. Super fun! I'll post more over time to this thread. Hopefully some of you can use them.

An update and a new one.

Tktk/Dpres:

I had been using the travellermap.com UWP until I noticed the updated version in the Mongoose Aslan supplement which features a much smaller Tktk. I will be featuring this planet in my campaign soon and determined that it is a somewhat flattened sphere with spiny, calcified ridges, the tallest of which jut into space. Can't wait to see my players operate in this size-1 planet's inconsequential gravity!

An Aslan world featured at last. This planet, part of the Glorious Empire, will also be featured in my campaign. I have at least one player who frequents these boards, so I will reveal no more. 8)

Re Travellermap.com and Mongoose, don't forget what Matt posted here

Thanks for mentioning that. I missed Matt's comment. Interesting. Well, for now, I'll stick with Aslan as canon. We'll see if the hotly anticipated Pirates of Drinax changes the stats. I have never run the Drinax campaign, but I know it covers a potentially broad area.
